We were pleased to be able to offer our services on this beautiful 50m yacht moored in Dubai. The yacht was built in the USA by Trinity Shipyard and was delivered with a multi-room audio and video package that included Kaleidescape servers and players along with local satellite receivers. 

These were to controlled via an AMX system with a combination of touch screen panels and iPads.

During the past few years, the AMX has failed and control of the AV system was becoming an issue for the Capt and crew.

​

A number of local AV companies had been contacted to revamp the control system, but none where willing to take on this difficult project.

​

We saw an opportunity to prove what Ultrasound could offer and proposed upgrading the control system to Savant with a Pro remote installed in each on the 11 guest cabins and owner suite.

​

 The original music for the yacht was from a  old iPod unit which again was becoming difficult to access. A new hard drive was installed and music loaded onto it and now Sonos connect units can stream music to all the cabins and sundecks with control directly from the Savant Pro remote.

While upgrading to Savant, our technicians found issues with damaged power amps for the external decks and we are now carrying out the second phase of the project which is the replacement of items.
